3. Setting Limits
As part of our policy, we give you the tools to set a deposit limit to manage the amount of money that you can deposit into your account. Limits can be set for a 24-hour, 7 day or 30 day period and cannot be overridden.

You can decrease your deposit limits at any time and this will be applied immediately.

Before increasing your deposit limits carefully consider if you can afford to do so. Never decide to increase your limit because you have lost money and think that you will win it back by gambling more. If you wish to increase a limit you will need to wait 24 hours before we action your request and then return to our site to confirm that you still want to increase it.

You can set, amend and confirm your deposit limits under ‘Responsible Gaming’ by selecting ‘Deposit Limits’.

4. Reality Checks
To help you manage the amount of time you spend playing at Football Index, you can set up a Reality Check alert on your account. Once set, a pop-up alert will be displayed as a reminder that you have been logged into your account for the specified period of time.

5. Time Out Tools
If you want to take a short break from playing with us, you can do so by taking a Time Out for a period of 24 hours, 48 hours, 7 days or 30 days.

Once you begin your Time Out, you will not be able to use your account. It will not be possible to reactivate your account until your chosen period has ended.

If you want to stop yourself gambling for a longer period of time you should use Self-Exclusion.

To take a Time Out please select ‘Time Out’ under the ‘Responsible Gaming‘ section.

6. Self-Exclusion
If you consider that gambling has become problematic for you or you believe that you are at risk of developing gambling problem, with Football Index you have the ability to Self-Exclude yourself from future participation.

You can opt for definite self-exclusion from 6 months up to 5 years or you can stay self-excluded indefinitely. Upon receipt of your self-exclusion request, we will take the necessary measures to block your account for any gambling activities on our website and any affected 3rd parties while you are self-excluded.↵Should you request to increase the period of your self-exclusion it will become effective immediately upon its receipt.

We will return all remaining funds in your customer account. Remaining funds in your account are cash balance and shares in your portfolio priced at the Instant Sell price, if it is available, minus the 2% commission fee. The Instant Sell price may vary, especially in relation to Share prices that are experiencing high levels of volatility. In certain circumstances, we reserve the right to suspend Instant Sell, temporarily or otherwise for a specific footballer or all footballers. Prices may also vary from one transaction to another, through the course of liquidation if there are more than the maximum transaction amount of 300 shares in any footballer.

Upon your self-exclusion period expiration, your account will not be automatically re-activated, but only opon request and will come into effect after a further 24 hours cooling-off period following its receipt.
